What you need to know right away is that THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME! This was the second time for me seeing them live and I can't tell you how amazing they were on stage :D Their energy sure was infectious and the whole experience was a complete blast *is still bouncing around*

Guys. This short movie? IT SCREAMS OTP! :DDD
I find the visuals very "Big Fish"ish &movieofmyheart; and I also like the idea behind it, about bringing only the important stuff and then leave that behind too. I am not really sure about that faces/flames layering at the end, though. It looks... sloppy? I'm not vid-savvy, though, so if you think I completely missed the point please enlighten me :)

bandomvalentine again! There were loads of adorable prompts, but as soon as I read "Fairies", I was gone! Apparently (and I found this out today!) I was being prompt-stalked!

prettykitty_aya claimed the same prompt and then said "Hey, we have the same prompt! Let's collaborate! :D" and I was so very overjoyed, because I lovelovelove collaborating! Collaborating is the best thing ever! Anyway, long story short,

Artsy stuff! Today I posted my pieces for

inception_bang \o/.... Actually, what I did today was unlock the entry with the fanart that I had posted yesterday... so you might have missed it... Oh c'mon, you all already knew that I like playing ninja with my doodles :P It is here, btw :)

Also, you might have noticed that this year V-Day doodle featured a new couple! Meet Danny and Steve! They are ridiculous and happy making and OH SO MARRIED!
No really, this show is like, utterly unbelievable! It's as if the writers made sock-accounts, had a stroll in the Fair Reign of Fandom and then proceeded to write the most ridiculous Everyone Knows They Are Married But Them!fic. Not only that, but they filled canon with all of fandom's favourite tropes! It is like a Fandom Theme Park with all of your favourite rides! And the dialogue lend itself so perfectly to being turned into ASofterWord Remixes! Really,

Ion that surprise no one:
- I went to the flea market on Sunday and bought two tiny figurines; one is a toucan and the other should be a skunk (♥) but it has fox-ears and a terrier-face so maybe it is a mutant skunk, idk.
- Danny and Steve are so married I can't even *___*
- I want this steampunk pen sfm.
- Sloths are awesome and everyone should love them.
- I am working on 4 drawings at the same time. Talk about ADD.
- I am using masking fluid. What you should use it for: to mask the parts of the drawing you don't want your watercolours/inks/ecolines to cover. What you should do with it: paint it on the back of your hands and wait for it to dry so you can peel it off as if it was skin. Since masking fluid can be pretty expensive, I suggest you use white glue :D Have fun lovelies!

Happy-making things that happened in the last 24 hours:

1. Failboats! at the Disco brought back the waistcoats and introduced the bowties. I AM SMITTEN. UTTERLY, UNAPOLOGETICALLY SMITTEN. BOYS. I MISSED YOU SO FREAKING MUCH!

2. I mentioned to

ohohstarryeyed how I expected to see loads of stories featuring boys helping each other put on bowties and of course, since she is a star and totally awesome, she instantly wrote me a ficlet! Hurry up and go read Shake and then tell

3. Speaking of adorable boys in bands,

reni_days had a "give me two numbers from 1 to 10 and a prompt" meme up this morning and I left a comment and she wrote Mikey Way and Gerard Way, bickering over the last pancake. Go read that one too because it is a delight!

ordinaryink posted the most amazing Disney fanart I've seen in the last year! Go make your eyes turn into stars over Silly Bear!

5. JGL said he wants to be Cupid. This is relevant to my interests because

angelgazing and I have been going on about a Cupid!Arthur AU story since last November. Expect ridiculous doodles soon.

6. Inception people and harlequin ~~girls~~ lovers!

Okay, first thing first I've been friending back people today! Sometime it takes me forever to get around to do it, sorry guys /o\ BUT! HI NEW PEOPLE! *waves* I... don't have a get-to-know-me post and I'm not skilled in the fine art of introducing myself, so if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

So, funny stuff. A couple of weeks ago I found a prompt on the kinkmeme that I really liked and so I made a note about it in my sketchbook that read "∑:3 A/E + Ariadne". Last week I found that note and went "Woo! Prompt!" and so I started doodling what the note told me: Arthur and Eames are cats and Ariadne is also there. Too bad when I went to post it on the kinkmeme I reread the prompt and guess what? I manage to take a note so vague that what I drew was not at all what the prompt asked for /o\ Though, I'd like to lay the blame on the fact that the prompt involved cats and therefore my brain went on a flailing journey in the land of kittenwar. Anyway, to show you that I learned the valuable lesson of taking notes the right way, I drew something that could actually be a fill for that prompt.

In other news, MCR ARE AMAZING :DDD I'm halfway through the album and omg. OMG YOU GUYS! The starry eyes I am making, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW! *________________________*
I've missed being excited about bandom so much but now I am so happy! *twirls and twirls and twirls* Now, if only those Panic boys would stop playing around with stunner guns and record some music... (How crazy are they? A lot. A whole lot.) Also: Ryan Ross, be more adorkable, I dare you.

I'm sure you see why I kept this one for last. There was no way I could do justice to such an amazing prompt. I sketched different things and at one point I tried to draw an epic scene with all the recast

athousanderrors had given me, but I got scared and chucked it away. The drawing under the cut is my latest (and last) attempt.

wethepainted has come down with a case of posting-shyness, I made her a deal. If she would post her latest amazing, gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful art piece, I would publicly ridicule myself by posting the literary spawn of my nightly musing.

So, remember when Zack posted those pictures from "Panic! at Buch Walker's"? Ace and I were chatting at the time and then this picture was posted and the following exchange took place:

I am so not a writer, but I was pretty enamoured with this (stupid) zombie!verse idea, so later on I sent to Ace the following... thing, which was supposed to be a sort of introduction to Brendon realising that something was not right with his boyfriend:

It all started when Spencer came back from spending a week at Ryan's. The first sign was the craving for entrails (strange, Spencer had always said they were disgusting); the second was the constant scratching of Brendon's head (nice, but it was a pretty vigorous scratching that made Brendon's scalp hurt); then came the gnawing on Brendon's hair in the middle of the night (just plain gross).

And then, once Spencer spilled the bean, Brendon's first reaction to finding out about his boyfriend's condition:

"You know," Brendon scratches his cheek, "all things considered, you got lucky"

Spencer blinks and takes in a completely unnecessary breath "Lucky. You think I got lucky."

"Well, as far as I know, zombies have to dig their way up from underground using their bare hands and, let's face it, you hate getting dirt on your clothes" Brendon says pointedly.

Spencer covers his face with both hands and presses his fingers against his eyelids, hastily stopping when it feels like his eyeballs are sinking way too much into his skull. Fucking Ryan and his dead poets.

After that, Ace kept bugging me about what happened in the "Zombie!fic" (yes, we are that creative), to tell her the whole story. Be glad that you only get to read it in chat-form.

Now, that is the part that I'm completely unable to write because hello? I can sort-of-write just crack. Which is how I spent the rest of our chat coming up with crack-ish scenarios:

And then two days ago I was sort of bored waiting in line at the post office so I emailed Ace an outtake from those ridiculous "Life as a Zombie" experiences.

I really would have liked to deliver that. Except that my brain decided to stage a coupe and go in a completely different direction. Bob and Spencer are still there, and the drums are somewhat there too, but this is not what I thought would come out when

coreopsis gave me the prompt.

152's "One More Day With You". I have to admit, I knew absolutely nothing about the characters in this story, so when I received the draft for my pinch-hit, I got a bit anxious (thank god for primers, but mostly thanks to

wethepainted who put together a mini Adam Lazarra picspam for me ♥). Anyway, I really, really liked this story too. I'm pretty amazed by

152's style. I like all the little details woven into the narration, and the descriptions are beautifully written. The story takes place during summer and, I swear, you will feel the heat (I realize it is Summer now, but read it sitting in front of a fan and you'll see what I mean).

Shiny thing n° 3: apparently, The Young Veins will put out an album before 2010? Jon Walker, do not tease, please.

Shiny thing n° 4: I don't care if the video has no point, I HEREBY DECLARE NEW PERSPECTIVE THE HOTTEST VIDEO EVER. Spencer walks like a model, Brendon's hair looks sexy, they are wearing suits and all ends with them all rumpled and coming out from under the bleaches. It's like a failboats fanvid :)
