lalala I should be working on things that are on a deadline lalala

So, funny stuff. A couple of weeks ago I found a prompt on the kinkmeme that I really liked and so I made a note about it in my sketchbook that read "∑:3 A/E + Ariadne". Last week I found that note and went "Woo! Prompt!" and so I started doodling what the note told me: Arthur and Eames are cats and Ariadne is also there. Too bad when I went to post it on the kinkmeme I reread the prompt and guess what? I manage to take a note so vague that what I drew was not at all what the prompt asked for /o\ Though, I'd like to lay the blame on the fact that the prompt involved cats and therefore my brain went on a flailing journey in the land of kittenwar. Anyway, to show you that I learned the valuable lesson of taking notes the right way, I drew something that could actually be a fill for that prompt.

I've missed being excited about bandom so much but now I am so happy! *twirls and twirls and twirls* Now, if only those Panic boys would stop playing around with stunner guns and record some music... (How crazy are they? A lot. A whole lot.) Also: Ryan Ross, be more adorkable, I dare you.

The recent fandom wank induced D: and I don't want to think about it because then I'll go around with a frowny face and I hate frowny faces (mine or someone else's) so I won't talk about it except to just say that it makes my heart sad (like this: /♥\ )

So, my third (and final) piece of art for BBB got posted a couple of days ago. It's for the story Dreaming of Manhattan and you can find it here. Jon/Spencer is not my favourite pairing, but this story was really nice and drawing for it was easy. Once again, I'm more happy about something inconsequential like the dishcloths than anything else. I fail.

(Speaking of BBB, There are so many beautiful stories and I have so little time that I've kind of fallen behind. Good thing that Summer has just begun.)

I'm starting to think that I may have signed up for too many bigbang thingies (

bandgirlsbang,

boxofmagic and I've been meaning to sign up for

bigbangitalia). The good thing is that they aren't too close to one another, so I should have enough time to work on them and give them the time they deserve.

At the moment I'm working on some fabric painting. One of my sister's friends commissioned me 3 t-shirt (one of which must be like the "free your mind" one with all the tentacles I did way back). He came up to me and said "My cat is crazy. She eats all my bedsheets and t-shirts and uderwears. I swear to you, my wardrobe is practically empty. I need you to make me some tees again. Oh, by the way, hi! How are you?" Logical, right? If only he hadn't a girlfried already...

Anyway, WASP (ahahah We Are So Purring has a cool acronym!) is kind of laying there, looking at me as if to say "So, what are you going to do with me?" and I've been meaning to go back to it and at least write a bit more, but cat!Ryan is not co-operating. To get my head into cat-mode I doodled some Merlin!Cats (I thought that a fandom change might be good) because

toodelicious asked me to some time ago. I'm going to post them tomorrow (maybe).
Anyway, ask me something about WASP? Maybe writing snippets will help me to get into writing mode...

I'm late but... HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY

Lea, my aunt's dog, gave birth to 5 puppies last night!
( Look how cute they are! )

We thought she was going to have just 3 puppies, so we found only 3 people to give them to; now that there are 2 more, we'll have to find someone else soon to take care of them. Mum is already making noises about taking one.... but I want a cat, not another dog! We already have two and everytime I ask her about getting a cat, she tells me "No, Nasssty, we already have two dogs. We can't take another pet.".... unless it's another dog, apparently. /o\
Don't get me wrong, I love puppies (especially if they're even a tenth like Lea) but I like cats better.

Anyway, we might go see them tonight or tomorrow (so I can take some pictures ♥!)

In other news, the Cat!AU (that I've been referring to as "We Are So Purring") is now at 800ish words... and Brendon has yet to meet the other cats (/o\). ( whining about writing )

1. My tutor finally gave me the transfer papers! I have to meet her tomorrow to finalize my curricula and then I'll be able to do the last 20 exams and get this damn degree \o/

3. Speaking of Panic as animals, I have 600ish words of Cat!AU in a googledoc. You want an itty bitty little snippet? ( Here you go! )

And now one of you has to come forward and offer themselves as a sounding board/beta/cheerleader and HELP ME! I had to sketch scenes like a freaking storyboard because words are not my thing OK? This things keeps growing in my head but fuck if I can translate it to paper in word-form!

So... that "happy meme" thing.
It's ~~Easter~~Zombie Jesus Day and obviously it should make me happy because: holiday. Right? WRONG! I was brought up Christian, but I'm not a believer. That means that all that "Let's celebrate, Jesus is fine and dandy again" doesn't affect my mood in any way.
The point is that today there was supposed to be the first race of the MotoGP Championship. I know that you, flist, probably don't give a flying pan about this (maybe

deep_lost has fond memories of it? I know she follows F1 now), but I'm a huge fan. I've been since before I looked at boys as something other than playmates of the football variety. And it would have been an amazing race because it was a night time race! Do you know how exciting night time races are? A lot! An awesome lot! Here, this is how Losail Circuit looks at night. It was going to be epic! BUT. But. IT FREAKING STARTED TO FU****G RAIN! How the actual f*** can it rain buckets in the middle of bumfuck, Qatar?!
Anyway, since it (literally) rained on the parade, I went to look at lolcats and then videos to cheer myself up.
