I came up with an idea but I wasn't sure, and then someone linked this video on tumblr and of course I took it as the sign I was waiting for. ( It was crystal clear )

I started to draw a classic teaparty with a slightly older Bandit wearing a frilly dress, but I went to see Alice in Wonderland last week and that idea was abandoned in favor of this other one. I've never been so invested in a fandom and this feels awful.
I don't care about having two Christmas and two parties. I liked my one Christmas party.
I know that it's better this way, them going their ways now instead of trying to make it work and everyone being unhappy, but it still hurts.

I'm sure in a couple of days I'll be able to look at this and think "Hey. You know what. Maybe it's cool. It hurts, but there's still something to look forward to. Jon and Ryan will go do whatever they want to do and so will do Brendon and Spencer. We get two bands instead of no band at all. Brendon will be able to make up all the showtunes-y songs he wants and Spencer will be able to be the dork he is and Jon will continue to braid his hair and Ryan (hopefully) will learn how to sing."

Reading that kind of makes me feel better already. Maybe if I repeat it like a mantra the pain will ease faster.

I finished my second piece for BBB yesterday morning \o/ I think I like this one as much as the first one, if not more. Maybe it's because I did it the traditional way, or maybe because I used coloured inks for the first time and it turned out that I'm ok using them. I'm so proud of it that I really want to say 'fuck the rules' and give you a sneak peek... BUT I'M A GOOD GIRL AND I CAN'T BREAK THE RULES! Now I really can't wait for BBB to start! Two more weeks! I. Can't. Wait.

I spent yesterday scanning some drawings. While I was waiting for the scanner to load I started doodling. You know when you want to draw, but you don't know what to draw? Milly told me that if I needed inspiration, I could draw something from my favourite fics, so I thought about the fics that I really enjoyed, which brought me to think about fics that should be written because they'd be totally adorable and... well, remember that silly Jhonny Fedora!AU not-fic? Yeah...

She prompted me with "Spencer's five favorite things he did/saw in Africa". I don't know how, but I developed a case of utter sap when I drew this...

I jotted down a couple of ideas for the art I'm going to do yesterday. I'm so hyped right now that I feel like I could finish it today and then go back and see if there's still a summary that intrigues me enough to claim it. Doing fanart is amazing!

Anyway... Yesterday my art juices were slow. Luckily, I stumbled over The Black Parade Mary-Sue Art Meme hosted by theopterix! It gave me the "starting kick" I needed :)

I don't have writer's block (actually, I wrote 652 words of dorky!Darwin fic that I don't hate, so...), but this caught my eyes :)

This past week I went to the cinema twice. On the 8th I went with a friend to celebrate International Women's Day and we watched "I Love Shopping" (she said she really wanted to see it, but if it was too "easy" for me we could choose something else.... I didn't know if should have been offended or not), while on Tuesday I forcedpolitely asked my sister to come with me to watch "Watchmen". EPIC AWESOMENESS OF AWESOMELY EPIC PROPORTIONS! I loved it to pieces (apart from those scenes on Mars... they looked too much like those forwarded slideshows about the meaning of life and God's project for you and whatnot) and I pretty much fell in love with the soundtrack... which is why I uploaded it here for you ;D

So, today I was surfing the internet, looking for funny tees... and then I found one with THE PANIC BOYS AS GIRAFFES!!!!!. IT SHALL BE MINNNNNNNNNE!!! Either I'll do it myself, or I'll buy it with the money from those tattoos I'm going to do next week.

So, since tomorrow I'll be busy with PACKING MY BAG because I leave Saturday morning for the FOB SHOW IN MILAN, this will be the last post until next Tuesday (when I'll probably get up at noon and then try to write a passable recap of the show with pictures).

milenaa asked for the recipe of my birthday's apple pie, and since I already did a "bandomized" recipe as a birthday gift for her last year, I thought I'd do another one :)

Just to be clear, this is like fanart for a fic that doesn't exsist, but if it did, it would be Brendon/Spencer (this is my not-so-veiled attempt at getting one of you to write it for me, ok? :D)

Hook's quote aside, coming up with things for saba1789's prompt has been hard. I thought that doing the one with Spencer's left foot was challenging. Ah! If a little piece of Spencer made me sweat, I should have known that the whole thing would kill me.
Anyway, I've been toying with this prompt for a week and I finally got inspired this morning while waking up (a process that takes me from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on my hunger).
This time, I tried drawing with music in the background, so each piece is accompanied by the song I listened to while doing the first sketches. That means that today you get art and music!

Well, that was the last prompt for the 5 things meme. If you ever want to prompt me again, you can. Just be aware that lectures started again so it'll take me longer to draw them :)
