How are you on this fine day?
London last week was super awesome and awfully snowy. I had to keep my hood up all day long and hide the rest of my face behind a scarf and a steaming cup of coffee.
Who cares about stupid snow when you can browse the comic bookshop for hours, though? I bought myself the prettiest mug with Worm from Labyrinth :3 It is the most precious <3 Also, I finally managed to get my hands on Soulless by Gale Carriger. OMG it is basically steampunk genderswap TW fic. How come nobody wrote and actual AU of it yet? I am looking at all of you writing people! Get started! Now!... please? :)?

Speaking of "now, please". Can it be the 16th already? I need Save Rock and Roll in my hands/ears/eyes NOW. What is your favourite song so far? I am incapable of picking just one.

In other news, I've yet to find an engaging bingo card to get the artsy juices flowing :/ Does anyone know about a 30 days challenge or something similar? I think I lost all my google-fu and I can't find anything anymore /o\ That said, I've had a little bit more time to doodle around on my sketchbook, so here, have a silly doodle about kickass teenagers.

hello hello! How have you been my lovelies? I have sort of fallen into the canyon of deep despair that is pre-finals month + RL being less that decent + me being more spazzy than usual. Whatever.

What I wanted to say is that today is Monday, but it's a very awsome one because it is chaotically_clev's birthday :D Here is the faily Hunger Games inspired birthday card I drew for her.
And speaking of Hunger Games (I hinaled the whole trilogy the past weekend and I AM HAVING ALL THE FEELINGS HOW SHALL I EVER RECOVER ;___;) my most dearest angelgazing wrote this utterly perfect ficlet, which wrenched my heart in all the best ways and I urge you to go read it and tell her how amazing she is and that she needs to write more! This Is the World We Wanted, run don't walk!

What else, what else... Oh yeah, remember the Epiphany doodles? They are all posted :D We had two TSN doodles, two Clint/Darcy and a bb!Thor, three Arthur/Merlin being silly and four Brendon/Spencer being adorable :) Ah, that was fun *twirls* I might do it again for the next festivity... what are your thoughts on Valentine powerdoodling?

• first up, two TSN fics: Dreaming the Shades of Dawn and Dusk by smiles1777 is a Sleeping Beauty inspired story and it wrenched my heart right out of my chest. I was quite the teary mess when I finished it but don't let the image of my blotchy red face stop you from reading it because it truly is beautiful. Brushstrokes by hitlikehammers is another piece of utter charm: Eduardo hasn’t always been a painter, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t art inside his soul the whole time, nonetheless. It might just be that any story in which a character struggles with and talks about the creative process makes me feel a little less alone in the world and therefore makes me kinda biased, but believe me when I say that this story is lovely and you won't be disappointed.

You guys! Today is a very special day! My lil' sister turned 21! ISN'T IT FREAKING AMAZING? She is the very best sister ever and also the coolest person I know. There are not enough nice words in the universe to truly do her justice okay? She is that amazing ♥

Anyway, silly present for the sister (that she received a couple of days ago because who cares about dates)! This year she got exclusive fanart. Doctor Who fanart. Featuring a kettle. Ummmm.

Another reason that makes today a really special day is that bookshop is hosting the Fluff Meme - Round Two! So much delicious fluff, you don't even know ♥ Also, I drew a little doodle for angelgazing's fill Eames is the Ice Cream Man (yes, I did name the pic file icecrEames.jpg. What?) and you should all go and over there and dive into the fun! Go write! Go draw! Go read! Just go!

Today was supposed to be awesome and amazing and all things shiny because I was asked to paint on a wall (I love drawing on big surfaces) but my excitement for this task was ruined in the span of 15 minutes thanks to hate rant delivered by my bff's mum after she asked me what was that I posted on my facebook status and I explained about today being NCOD. I'm not going to repeat what she said because just thinking about it makes the bile rise again in my throat and it was hard to swallow it down the first time around. Point is, she managed to turn me into a sad and angry little thing; when I am a sad-and-angry-little-thing I tend to think the world is doomed and people are horrible and I forget that not everybody is so hateful and offensive and rude. Luckily, mum and L let me get it out of my system and then we all flailed angrily together about people's blindness and their close-mindedness. This FCKH8 video (NSFW! Heavy use of the F word!) also made me feel slightly better. Speaking of f*** hate, you should also go and check out this
