I am so happy i want to go outside and dance in the streets \o/ But no, I can' do that because I was roped into helping my aunt assemble ten thousand Ikea things. I knew that showing people I good I am at building stuff without instructions was going to bite me in the butt one day...

• Masquerade by dumbimps. I've always thought dumbimps's style was freaking amazing, but this art is just mindblowingly gorgeous. The sheer amount of details left me completely speechless (which is also why I have yet to leave a comment. English fails me when I'm too excited about beautiful art).

• This Merlin Art Project is so very interesting! It is a Style of Famous Artists & Animated Films Project: what you need to do is pick a famous artist or an animated film and draw the Merlin version of it. I have been slowly getting back into this fandom and this sounds like an awesome way to get back on the dancefloor :) Only problem is... WHAT DO I PICK? YOU SHOULD HELP ME, FLIST!

Oh, hey. You know what's really exciting? MERLIN IS BACK! I've been flailing via e-mail at toodelicious like a spaz. If you haven't watched the first episode yet, GO WATCH IT NOW! OMG! There's jealous!Merlin! And Gaius must have spoken to the slash dragon! And oh the slashiness! I promise you'll love it to pieces (and then come back here so we can flail all together \o/)

RL is kind of boring. I've watched Bambi twice this past week, and I've been trying to find an .avi file of the second one... Bambi II is the only sequel/midquel that's worth watching. I cry harder with it that with the original. Yes, I know I am a total lamer. No, I am not ashamed. How could I when it has gems like ( this: )

So, other than Disney-related entertainment, I've done pretty much nothing apart from sketching things for random competitions (not the FOB one, I don't think I could pull it off), poking WASP (now at the glorious total of 4000+ words of unrelated bits and pieces and no end in sight. Ah ah ah. /o\) and playing Tap Tap Revenge on Katiephone (that game is addicting! I scored 100% on ABC \o/).

Apparently, cats own my very soul. Also, toodelicious is a Smiley Face Master and my partner in the Neverending Cycle of Cute, which entitle her to ask me for Merlin!Cats... and what kind of Neverending Cycle of Cute Member would I be if I didn't draw them for her?

I jotted down a couple of ideas for the art I'm going to do yesterday. I'm so hyped right now that I feel like I could finish it today and then go back and see if there's still a summary that intrigues me enough to claim it. Doing fanart is amazing!

Anyway... Yesterday my art juices were slow. Luckily, I stumbled over The Black Parade Mary-Sue Art Meme hosted by theopterix! It gave me the "starting kick" I needed :)

So.... Let's start this rambling post saying that I love memes of the "5 times/things" variety an unhealthy amount. I like reading the prompts and I enjoy even more reading what the authors come up with. The only let down is that I can't ever partecipate to those because writing fails me (even more when it's in a language that is not my own). But.
A couple of days ago milenaa asked for 5 times/things prompts and earlier she posted the response to mine (you might want to click on the link, read it, be jealous that she wrote it for me and then save it in your memories. Sorry for the smugness, but it totally deserves it). Anyway, I told her about my love for this kind of meme and that I wanted someone to invent a 5 things meme for people who can't write worth beans but are quite capable with pencils. She went all "Duh! You just did!". So, to thank her for her awesomeness at writing (and making me realize the obvious) I drew the response to her prompt.
Therefore, I hereby present you the first ever (at least to my knowledge; if you know if someone has to be credited for the idea, let me know) 5 Things Meme: The Drawing Version.

I had so much fun doing this that I decided to follow milenaa's advice and give this thing a try, so...
Give me prompts? I'm in Bandom, Harry Potter, Disney and Merlin fandoms so you'll have to ask for something from those realms and, please, keep in mind that this is an art meme, so don't prompt me with, say, "the 5 aspects of Andy's personality that Patrick can't stand" because I wouldn't even know where to bash my head. Ask for something "drawable" (I don't care if that is not even a word).
