Puppies and kittens and ♥s!

Lea, my aunt's dog, gave birth to 5 puppies last night!
We thought she was going to have just 3 puppies, so we found only 3 people to give them to; now that there are 2 more, we'll have to find someone else soon to take care of them. Mum is already making noises about taking one.... but I want a cat, not another dog! We already have two and everytime I ask her about getting a cat, she tells me "No, Nasssty, we already have two dogs. We can't take another pet.".... unless it's another dog, apparently. /o\
Don't get me wrong, I love puppies (especially if they're even a tenth like Lea) but I like cats better.
Anyway, we might go see them tonight or tomorrow (so I can take some pictures ♥!)
In other news, the Cat!AU (that I've been referring to as "We Are So Purring") is now at 800ish words... and Brendon has yet to meet the other cats (/o\). I have told my sister how I want the story to go (even if she is not in Bandom, so I had to stop multiple times to explain who was who and what and where) and she seems to like it, but her not being in bandom means she can't tell me if I'm doing it right or not. Also, it's a bit frustrating when you already have all the story planned in your head but everytime I pick up a pen I start sketching scenes instead of writing them because, for me, illustrating is easier than telling. The thing is, I found an old "story block" I bought last year and never used and I started plotting the story there, so now I have something that resemble a storyboard and I've been using that as reference... but translating my sketches in actual words is hard.
Ok, now that I've whined about it I can start again *wanders back to the googledoc*
ETA: I've decided that cat!Ryan's collar will be lacey

Brendon doesn't get how a cat as klutzy as Ryan can be such a snob. He constantly falls from the furniture he climbs on (when he manages to climb it), he walks into doorjambs and gets his tail stuck between the pedals of the piano. Now that he thinks about it, Brendon reckons that half the times, Ryan gets in some kind of accident because he walks with his nose up in the air or because he is trying to look glamourous, swishing his tail this way and that without caring where it lands.

Exactly! Brendon noticed that Ryan seems to be more snobby when Jon comes around the house. He tries to talk to Shane and Eric about it (they may be field mouses, but they know a lot of things) and they tells him that sometimes, when you really like somecat, you treat them bad because you fear rejection (there is a lot of word-stressing and meaningful stares when they explain it to him, but Brendon thinks that it's just theatrics). Brendon thinks that it's a really stupid approach and promises himself to do something about it because he has an inkling that Jon wouldn't be averse to hanging out with Ryan. If only the situation with Spencer was so easy to resolve.... He really doesn't get why Spencer is so standoffish with him.

Brendon is a little dumb when it comes to these things. He grew up in a cage, so he hasn't got a lot of experience when it comes to relationships. Mostly, he read teen magazines advices when the shelter lady's niece came to read in the back where the cages were kept. He knows the "10 ways to lose 3 pounds in a week" (they didn't work, Brendon tried them all but his hind legs keeps being more rounded than normal), that his boy type is the "Knight in shining armour" and what the "5 things you can't leave your house without" are (if you are a human. Brendon lacks the opposable thumbs to work a mobile phone).

Yes, I have the plot (both in bullet points and in story board form!), but writing it is not easy, even if it's fun. I already know what I want to tell and how (mostly); it's just that typing all the images I have in my head instead of drawing them is strange and I don't know how to go about it. My writing process consist in sitting in front of my laptop, fiddle with iTunes and look at the storyboard and then try to find a way to 'tell' what I see.
I'm still at the beginning stage, so everything is still pretty easy, but I fear that I'll smash into a block sometime soon :(

When I used to write (HP fanfics actually xD) I always wrote down the whole story first in simple sentences, scene after scene before starting it out again to redo and add stuff to complete it. everyone has different styles, though.but you HAVE to complete this We are so purring thing, or I'll make cat!brendon cry.

It started as a joke, but it looks like I'll have to title the fic like that...
(Hee! They used to live in different cages because Andy thought that it would be better to keep them separated, since Pete was kind of a handful, but when Joe and he moved in together, Pete spent all his time with his little paws between the bars of his cage trying to reach Patrick and looking at Joe with hopeful eyes. Joe bought a bigger cage because he couldn't live with a sad Pete, but Patrick didn't look very happy with the new arrangement, at least not at first. He kept scurrying on the second level of the cage and moving the toys around to block Pete on the first level.
Not that it ever worked for long. Pete always found the way to overcome the barricades and launch himself at Patrick, pressing his nose into Patrick's fur and sighing Patrick's name in relief. After a week, Patrick stopped running and just rolled over when Pete wanted to snuggle.
... I'm going mad. Please, stop this nonsense. Love, me)

Cat!Ryan è uno spasso, ma dargli una "voce" è proprio complicato...
We are so purring conta intorno alle 1400 parole al momento. La cosa mi sta sfuggendo di mano... non sono nemmeno a metà ç___ç Stupido plot del cavolo *prende il plot a calci*
Oh! Quello è il primo che ho fatto! Quella fic era assolutamente fantastica quando mi hanno mandato la "brutta copia". Ora che è completa è ancora più bella e magnifica e ♥ alla quisquiglionesima! Anche il mix che hanno fatto sembra bellissimo, ma ancora non sono riuscita ad ascoltarlo.
C'è anche un'altra fanart qui (http://community.livejournal.com/bandombigbang/39307.html). È una fic sugli Hush Sound, che di solito non leggo molto, ma è piuttosto carina :)
