Panic! @ Rocca Malatestiana (gira con me questa notte)
Hello and welcome to another crappy recap from yours truly \o/
What you need to know right away is that THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME! This was the second time for me seeing them live and I can't tell you how amazing they were on stage :D Their energy sure was infectious and the whole experience was a complete blast *is still bouncing around*
Anyway, you all know how crappy I am at telling stories so let me pull up the pictures I took and hopefully this recap won't be a complete mess. :D?
So, let me just say that the venue was pretty sweet

thank you google image!
The stage was set up in the front courtyard, against the left wall, and it was pretty low. Also, it could be just my impression, but when Zack came out check on things before the guys came out to play, he didn't look very impressed with how close to the stage the barriers were (from what I gathered, they hosted the M&G in the back courtyard so if some M&G pics pop up, they should have a really cool background :)) Randomly, Smunchkin and I ended up right beside this group of girls (hi girls! :D) who were discussing bandom stuff, but because I am an awkward penguin at heart I kept to myself and only fingirled on the inside. The funny thing is, right after the show I met up with
raffie79 and
chainer_morgana and they told me
faechan was at the show too and we could wait for her together so we could finally meet. Well, guess what? She was actually one of the girls from before!
Anyway! First up were Soldiers of a Wrong War.
They started a bit slow, but I'm pretty sure they were just nervous because after the first two song the singer started to banter left and right and they were actually pretty nice. Apparently, the guitarist broke his left clavicle two days before the show (and somehow it was the singer's fault?) so he couldn't move around amuch, but the bassist made up for it by being a total stage animal :)

About Wayne was up next. The singer has a nice voice (not to mention a nice everything. Tbh, this is collectively attractive band) and I very much enjoyed their set. They also did a cover of Eleanor Rigby which you can listen to here. They just came out with an album, btw, and they are really cool :D (and okay I'm totally biased about this band because they are from Rome! I have to be supportive of my fellow citizens!)

AND THEN THE FAILBOATS TOOK THE STAGE AND WE ALL COLLECTIVELY BURST INTO A MILLION SPARKLING HEARTS OMG!

Um. Since we were on the right side of the stage, you will see a lot of Dallon and very little of Ian :(

Woohoo Ian \o/ They didn't switch places much so this is the only good Ian!pic I took. Also, you can see a tiny Spencer :)

Here is a video I took of Hurricane :D

Hands joining seemed to be the theme of the night, btw

It is the East, andJulietSpencer is the sun!

Here is Dallon being King of the Stage. Behold his mighty powers!

Uh... this one is here because I like the colours :3

Look! A Spencer! :D
After a mini break, Brendon came back out alone for Always

Brendon sang Gira con Me at Spencer. I MIGHT HAVE BEEN HEARTEYEING A LOT BY THIS POINT, OKAY?

Here is Brendon singing Tenacious D's Classico. Rrrrock it bb!

I sort of abandoned my camera at this point because I was too busy jumping around like a frog on a sugar high, so I didn't manage to immortalize Brendon and Dallon sharing a mic, Ian being cuddled by Brendon, Dallon sticking his pic to his forehead/tongue, everybody bumping guitars and Spencer walking un and down the stage at every break. BUT KNOW THAT ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED! AND THEY WERE AWESOME! AND I'M LIVING HAPPILY EVER AFTER \:D/
