Okay, first thing first I've been friending back people today! Sometime it takes me forever to get around to do it, sorry guys /o\ BUT! HI NEW PEOPLE! *waves* I... don't have a get-to-know-me post and I'm not skilled in the fine art of introducing myself, so if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

The Multi-Fandom Cuddling Meme is still going on you guys! What are you doing not participating? There is a marked lack of Bandom in the meme so I started thing off by posting some Spencer/Brendon cuddling while watching the snow. NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO WRITE/DRAW/PICSPAM SOME CUDDLING! GO!

Also, here it will be December in about 15 minutes. Do you know what that means? IT MEANS THAT [livejournal.com profile] mfac IS ABOUT TO COME BACK! For those not in the know, [livejournal.com profile] mfac stands for Multi Fandom Advent Calendar and it is the brainchild of [livejournal.com profile] saba1789, who has been organizing it for the past 5 years! Basically, it works like all advent calendars do, except it's better because everyday there are recs, exclusive graphics, music, exclusive fanfics or fanart from a variety of fandoms. You should all prepare yourself to be swept away by its awesomeness! Actually, go and friend MFAC right now so you won't miss anything :D

In conclusion, P-STUMP WINS AT EVERYTHING EVER!

To continue with my trend of "rl, what rl?", let's skip all the house moving drama, the movie seeing experience (omg ç___ç) and the work related stuff and focus on other, way more exciting things like the fact that TODAY IS DANGER DAYS DAY! :D

Now, what I planned to do today to celebrate this most joyous event was to listen to DD on repeat all day long. Of course [livejournal.com profile] angelgazing had other ideas and said "I think maybe Danger Days should be celebrated with killjoy art. NAME YOUR PRICE? :D?" I was very tempted to ask her to finish one of her WIPs, but it has been established that [livejournal.com profile] angelgazing and I work best when we start from the same source material, and so my price was "Write me a killjoy drabble from the kid's pov!" I SUPPOSE THIS DRABBLE WILL BE COMING VERY SOON TO A COMPUTER SCREEN NEAR YOU THE DRABBLE IS HERE! "The Same Old Story"! GO READ IT NOW OMG!. In the meantime, here is my part of this fabulous bargain

Title: Share
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer
Rating: PG (I think? I know it's higer than G)
Notes: A while back, when I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] kissbingo (and what was I thinking? Drawing graphic kissing is a nightmare. I tried it once and I couldn't bring myself to make it larger that a stamp) the lovely [livejournal.com profile] seratonation was a total sweetheart and reassured me that I could totally pull this off. To make things easier for me, she made me a deal: she would write me a drabble and I would use that as a starting point for my piece. So, this is the art for the "Experimental: Trickle" square on my [livejournal.com profile] kissbingo card and is dedicated to Sera because she is an enabler of epic proportions.
It goes without saying that the cut hides graphic boykissing.

I'm very embarrassed :/ )

Title: How I Love to Hear Your Patter
Pairing: Ashlee/Cassadee
Rating: G
Notes: Drawn for my "Wild Card" square on my [livejournal.com profile] schmoop_bingo card. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ashlein for suggesting me the prompt "Caught in the Rain" ♥ You can find [livejournal.com profile] ashlein's lovely companion story right here.

In other (not so surprising) news, [livejournal.com profile] ashlein is totes the most awesome! She wrote this other lovely story, The Risk I'll Always Take, which you should all read right now and then you should tell her how amazing she is, okay? Okay.

P.s. Sera! Your art is next in my sketchbook!
p.p.s. I know it doesn't seem like it, but I promise that RL is happening to me too! I just forgot how to write a proper update /o\

Title: Gently Down The Stream
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer
Rating: G
Notes: I cheated again. Is there anyone who is surprised? This is both for [livejournal.com profile] ashlein who asked for "anything Brendon/Spencer" and for my [livejournal.com profile] schmoop_bingo "Boat Ride" square.

I need more swans in my life )

Title: Fire, Fire
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer
Rating: G
Notes: This is for [livejournal.com profile] celebutaunt, who asked for firefighter!Spencer saving Brendon :) Enjoy

it's getting hot in here... )

Title: As Dreamers Do
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer
Rating: G
Notes: So...uhm... I kinda cheated and used [livejournal.com profile] sunsetmog's prompt from that "first 10 people to comment meme" to get inspiration for my [livejournal.com profile] schmoop_bingo "Looking at the stars" square. She asked for Brendon and Spencer hangin' out and in love. Spencer is hanging and Brendon is out(side) and of course they are in love. Everybody wins. I was going to make this one count for my h/c bingo "Falling" square too, but then I realised there was no h/c to speak of here. Darn.
Title, cut text and quote from "When You Wish Upon A Star".

So... my art contribution to BBB is up \o/ woo!
This year I got so, so lucky! I had the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing [livejournal.com profile] sunsetmog on her steampunk!AU, A Presumption of Functionality (A Gas-Light Romance). It is one of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading, not only because [livejournal.com profile] sunsetmog's style is pretty much the epitome of everything awesome, but also because it features a bossy governess, creaky floorboards, cherry cake, oil stains and a pet hedgehog (which I believe is an element that should be included in every story ever from now on).

Anyway, you can see my art while reading the story (because [livejournal.com profile] sunsetmog is a coding wiz and put it all inline) or you can view all the pieces together here (I suggest you go with option one, though! Really, BEST STORY EVER!) :)

Title: Harvesting
Rating: G
Warning: a rodent
Notes: This is for [livejournal.com profile] wethepainted, who many moons ago asked me where in the world was Jon, who had left Ryan to sew hat for fox cubs all alone. Well, I found him :)

Title: A Big Enough Umbrella
Pairing: Gerard/Lyn-z
Rating: G
Notes: a while ago, [livejournal.com profile] xmexandyoux asked me if I could draw "Gerard/Lyn-z, with a theme of umbrellas". At first, I thought I'd draw them playing with paper umbrellas, but that didn't work out because it started to veer into "fairies playing in a fruit salad bowl" land. Then I remembered about UA, which ahah, I've never read and actually don't even know what the story's about and that made me thing about black and white, neat pictures and well, this is what came out. Title and cut from "Every little thing she does is magic" by The Police.

its always me that ends up getting wet )

In other news, I have only two four more items on my to-draw list. Woo \o/

Title: Fly to Your Own Drum
Character: Nate
Rating: G
Warnings: pollen. AH!
Notes: A couple of days ago, [livejournal.com profile] wethepainted asked me for some prompts. Obviously, there's something wrong with me because instead of giving her prompts and call it a day, I gave her prompts and then proceeded to use one of them for myself /o\ Also, I'm an indecisive kid when it comes to b&w vs coloured versions and that's why today you get two drawings for the price of one.

This is the last drawing/doodle from that neverending drawing meme! Woohoo \o/

[livejournal.com profile] athousanderrors's request was: "I would love, love, love, love to see Brendon as Bastian, curled under blankets, hunched over a book, reading all about Spencer, the fiercest warrior of the Horse people of the plains, trying to find a cure for the Empress Pete before the Nothing destroys Fantasia."

I'm sure you see why I kept this one for last. There was no way I could do justice to such an amazing prompt. I sketched different things and at one point I tried to draw an epic scene with all the recast [livejournal.com profile] athousanderrors had given me, but I got scared and chucked it away. The drawing under the cut is my latest (and last) attempt.

He simply can't imagine that one little boy could be that important )

[livejournal.com profile] coreopsis asked for "Bob/Spencer, something involving drums".

I really would have liked to deliver that. Except that my brain decided to stage a coupe and go in a completely different direction. Bob and Spencer are still there, and the drums are somewhat there too, but this is not what I thought would come out when [livejournal.com profile] coreopsis gave me the prompt.

So, apologetically, I give you

This is starting to feel like the "Neverending Meme"...

[livejournal.com profile] ashlein asked for Brendon/Spencer, domestic ridiculousness
I came up with an idea but I wasn't sure, and then someone linked this video on tumblr and of course I took it as the sign I was waiting for. It was crystal clear )

[livejournal.com profile] xmexandxyoux asked for Gerard, Lyn-Z and Bandit having a teaparty. I started to draw a classic teaparty with a slightly older Bandit wearing a frilly dress, but I went to see Alice in Wonderland last week and that idea was abandoned in favor of this other one. The Mad Hatter, the Dormouse and the March(ing) Hare )

Speaking of Alice in Wonderland... where do I find the fic where SPOILER! )
aredblush: (mika - colours)
[livejournal.com profile] seratonation asked for "Ryan+Spencer, bb cuddles"
Bedtime Story )

[livejournal.com profile] saba1789 (who today gets a glittery confetti shower because my new pencils demand it!) asked for "Happy post-split Panic hangouts"
Bimonthly Jonfire )

Six down, four to go! I am pumped, you guys!

Remember this meme? Yeah, if it weren't for my to-do-list-writing tendencies I'd have forgotten it, too.

Anyway, three more doodles for that meme!

[livejournal.com profile] of_silverandsky asked for bandom fairies
Remember when I told you that Ryan was a taylor fairy that sew leaves-hat for all the fox cubs? )

[livejournal.com profile] fictionalfaerie asked for Pete being his amazing self
He said he was going to see Alice in Wonderland tonight... )

[livejournal.com profile] sunsetmog asked me for something from her steampunk AU
technically, this is not that )

Ok, three more to go and then I'm done... unless someone sign up for those three still free spots... ETA all spots have been claimed.

Title: Time to Wash Up, Kid
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer + Bogart
Rating: G
Warnings: Rubber ducks and capris!
Notes: drawn for [livejournal.com profile] bandomvalentine, prompt "Brendon/Spencer or Brendon and Spencer, curtain fic, Bogart-related shenanigans or care-taking.". Also, not my usual style.

Rubber Ducky you're the one )

Title: The Second Thing I See
Pairing/Rating: Brendon/Spencer, PG.
Disclaimer: ... and pigs fly.
Notes: Drawn for my [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti winner, [livejournal.com profile] ashlein. She asked for "something Brendon/Spencer please. Hmm, I guess just something domestic-y? Hand holding or kissing or, oh I really like those ones you did with the polaroids? so maybe like snapshots of their domestic lives or something". I thought Brendon's nightstand would be the right place to find all those things. Enjoy :)

Title: Surprise
Pairing/Rating: Brendon/Spencer, PG.
Warnings: half-nakedness of the Spencer variety (it's totally something I would want to be warned about).
Disclaimer: We all know that Brendon and Spencer's kitchen does not look like this one...
Notes: Drawn for one of my [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti winners. [livejournal.com profile] saba1789 asked me to draw her the artwork for a ficlet she wrote a while ago. That story is completely adorable and I just hope I did it justice :)

Would-be breakfast in bed )

First drawing from this meme (there are still 5 spots free, btw)

Back when the "What a Catch, Donnie" video came out, [livejournal.com profile] xbeax and I commentficced a completely hilarious story about Brendon and Spencer getting married on Patrick's ship. The story was pretty long and involved a crossover with some of the characters from [livejournal.com profile] thegaystarfish (my apologies to [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx; we twisted the plot completely and I'll say "I'm sorry" 'till the end of time to repent).

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] xbeax asked for art from that silly WACD!AU, so here it is! Hope you like it, Bea :)
