I’ve been meaning to do it for months but I was distracted/was lazy/forgot, so here be all the silly doodles I’ve been sprinkling around the internet since September (the reason behind this is that I like having things all in one place and also because I am terrified of links dying on me D:). I may have shared links to these things before, so it’s likely you’ve already seen them all.

- yuletart keeps bringing awesomeness into the world! These past few days fandom has been regaled with heaps of truly amazing fanart! (and, um, I don’t even know half of the fandoms here, I just really liked the art!)

MY FACE IS STUCK ON :D AND I CAN'T STOP FLAPPING MY HANDS LIKE A DERANGED SEAL OVER HOW GORGEOUS IT IS! LOOK AT THE SHADING! LOOK AT BOB! LOOK AT TOOTHLESS AMAZING EXPRESSION! OMG! <333333333333333333

- holiday_heist is a source of neverending joy and I just can’t point out just a few of the fanarts because THEAY ARE ALL SPECTACULAR, OKAY? Even if you’re not into Inception, you should go over there and let some gorgeous art in your life! There isn’t a single one that is not a feast for your eyes! (and the fics are amazing too! I fail at commenting, lately, but know that I want to draw little hearts in sparkly silver gel pen all over every single entry!)

- HP7 brought back lots of nostalgia and I went on a stroll down Fanart Memory Lane! Does anyone remember this Snidget art? Or Makani’s beautifully hilarious sketches? Or red_rahl’s Bedroom Eyes comic of awesome, which features the same penguin of To Have and To Hold? (I remember there was also a companion ficlet to these, but I don’t know where to find it because at the time I hadn’t discovered Delicious yet. Random trivia: after reading it I made my sister sew me an Indigo!Penguin of my very own.) Also also, let’s not forget the sheer brilliance of Sherant! I remember hers were the first fanarts I stumbled upon when I was moving my first steps into fandom and to this day I still go back and look at her art and just stare in awe and wish one day to be even half as good as her.


I still owe people some doodles (delires, I haven't forgotten! I promise to deliver ASAP! seratonation, I read the email, am thinking about it! sunsetmog, am sketching victorian sofa with people sitting on it! All of you, DON'T DESPAIR!) and I'll probably go on a comment spree later this week. In the meantime, dear flist, rec me your favourite art! :D? (and, uh, also some music? My "doodle playlist" is starting to be irritating instead of inspiring)

I have received three snowflakes since I woke up this morning (thank you so much milenaa, raffie79 and sunsetmog!!! ETA: And of_silverandsky too! ETA2: and also wethepainted!). This made me so very happy because I finally got into the holiday spirit! I'd really like to spread the cheer around so I propose we all send a snowflake v-gift to our own entire flists and have a snowflakes party! And then we can start a sing along of Christmas carols and have s'mores around the fireplace :D

Or, if you'd prefer, we can all head over to mfac and rejoyce in the awesomeness that is this utterly amazing MultiFandom Advent Calendar \o/

In other news, it looks like Deathly Hallows will be epic!!! The trailer, at least, points in that direction!. I want it nao!

I don't have writer's block (actually, I wrote 652 words of dorky!Darwin fic that I don't hate, so...), but this caught my eyes :)

This past week I went to the cinema twice. On the 8th I went with a friend to celebrate International Women's Day and we watched "I Love Shopping" (she said she really wanted to see it, but if it was too "easy" for me we could choose something else.... I didn't know if should have been offended or not), while on Tuesday I forcedpolitely asked my sister to come with me to watch "Watchmen". EPIC AWESOMENESS OF AWESOMELY EPIC PROPORTIONS! I loved it to pieces (apart from those scenes on Mars... they looked too much like those forwarded slideshows about the meaning of life and God's project for you and whatnot) and I pretty much fell in love with the soundtrack... which is why I uploaded it here for you ;D

So, today I was surfing the internet, looking for funny tees... and then I found one with THE PANIC BOYS AS GIRAFFES!!!!!. IT SHALL BE MINNNNNNNNNE!!! Either I'll do it myself, or I'll buy it with the money from those tattoos I'm going to do next week.

So, since tomorrow I'll be busy with PACKING MY BAG because I leave Saturday morning for the FOB SHOW IN MILAN, this will be the last post until next Tuesday (when I'll probably get up at noon and then try to write a passable recap of the show with pictures).
