Ok, nobody complained for the music dump last week so here, have fun:

RL is kind of boring. I've watched Bambi twice this past week, and I've been trying to find an .avi file of the second one... Bambi II is the only sequel/midquel that's worth watching. I cry harder with it that with the original. Yes, I know I am a total lamer. No, I am not ashamed. How could I when it has gems like

So, other than Disney-related entertainment, I've done pretty much nothing apart from sketching things for random competitions (not the FOB one, I don't think I could pull it off), poking WASP (now at the glorious total of 4000+ words of unrelated bits and pieces and no end in sight. Ah ah ah. /o\) and playing Tap Tap Revenge on Katiephone (that game is addicting! I scored 100% on ABC \o/).

Dude, I totally just downloaded the TAI track and Paramore album yesterday and haven't got around to listening to either yet.

Please please tell me more about a Bambi AU. Or any Disney AU really but Bambi!

:D The TAI one is pretty. I was kind of wary when I downloaded it, but I really like it :) As for Paramore, I don't know. I'm not a big fan, but at first listening... it's good, but it doesn't really scream "Paramore" to me; maybe it's because the songs are more "softer" than I expected... Idk, I'm bad at criticism.

Bambi AU! I was talking to

devilswhore_x the other day and I told her I wanted someone to write me a Bambi!AU and she said "WANT IT NOW! WRITE IT" so I told her that Brendon is Bambi and Spencer is Faline *shines tinhat* (only, I just realized that I should switch their roles around), Ryan is the old Owl, Jon is Flower and Pete is Thumper (this is the best match of all because Thumper's match is a fair-hair bunny. Fair-hair bunny=Patrick Y/Y?). Anyway, I love Bambi, but the story is so saaaaaaaaad D: I don't want Sad!Babydeer!Spencer. So maybe it won't be a proper Bambi!AU, but just bandom people as forest animals. I just have to come up with a plot. Any suggestion? I'm taking requests...

My main thing with Paramore is that they're one of those bands I love when I listen to them but never really think about it. I'm definitely gonna give it a listen though 'cause I love Ignorance. As for TAI, I seem to always love their singles (not so much their album tracks for some reason) so I'll probably love it (and the other new one :DDD)

OhGod ♥ I haven't watched Bambi in a while (because it still makes me cry like a baby) but Y, that probably works. Ryan'd probably work as Bambi too, but old Owl!Ryan is perfect. General forest animals would work but idk idk I can't think of much of a plot. Deer!Spencer and Owl!Ryan have known each other since Spencer was tinytiny and Ryan hears about/sees a new deer for Spencer to ~play with, because Ryan's getting too old to play now so he introduces Spencer and Bden and er, idk, general OMGLOVE sort of thing.

OMG you are a genius! Spencer the baby prince deer wants to go explore the forest but Owl!Ryan is too busy rearringing flowers on the branches and really, he's "-old, Spencer! Go play with that skunk friend of yours" "I can't, Jon is twitterpated" "Then go and make friends with that other deer" "Other deer? What other deer?" "The one who arrived at the start of spring. He was bouncing around near the stream the other day..." and then Spencer goes to the stream but there's no one and he turns back to go bitch at Ryan for telling lies and his antlers get stuck into a low branch and we all know how that goes :DDDD

Oh oh! OH that's adorable and perfect and YYY! Jon is twitterpated omg, that word is the best and there's another dear and Spencer doesn't know! Ryan is totally goign to regret ever mentioning the other deer! Especially when Spencer's mom (WHO IS TOTALLY STILL ALIVE, RIGHT??) finds out he got stuck in the low branches and Spencer tells her that Ryan sent her over there! Also also I have this image of deer!Bden ~frolicking around on his own because his big brothers and sisters are off doing whatever it is they do when they tell him to leave them alone, so he's ~frolicking around and singing and chasing a butterfly and then OMG THERE'S ANOTHER DEER AND HE'S STUCK IN THE TREE! and it becomes this big rescue mission which just ends up with Spencer falling on his ass and Brendon all tangled in the tree.

Of course Spencer's mom is still alive! I'm not heartless like Disney! Nobody dies in my AUs!
Brendon is totally going on a rescue mission and he's so earnest! But his antlers are pretty new and he's not used to them yet and so he saves Spencer from the Branch Tangle Of Doom (Spencer's antlers are impressive, ok?) but then he's stuck. He saved Spencer, though, so the mission is a total success. Spencer's fallen on his ass into the water, and he's about to turn his bitchy glare on whoever made him fall when he lift s his head and comes nose to nose with a deer who has got the prettiest pair of doe-eyes he's ever seen. Spencer swallows.

I THINK MAYBE. OR MAYBE WE SHARE A BRAIN. ONE OR THE OTHER.

Spencer tries to be bitchy still but he doesn't think the look quite reaches his face because the new deer is just beaming at him (Spencer has to stare for a few seconds, he can't help it) and then he realises the new deer is kind of stuck too - though he doesn't seem to've noticed it, because he's babbling with introductions and telling Spencer about his favourite place in the forest and how he's totally going to take Spencer there and then he tries to move and this look comes on his face because he right then realises he's stuck and he looks so heart broken and kind of scared that Spencer has to help him! His mom will totally be angry at him for even talking to strangers but Brendon (or at least, he thinks that's what the deer said, he'd been talking kind of fast) is stuck! and pretty! but mostly just stuck!

EITHER OPTION IS FINE WITH ME!

Spencer rationalizes that he is the Little Prince of Forest, so it's his duty to help animals in distress, right? His mum would be proud of him if he started to show some princely behaviour, right? And Brendon did help him, so. Spencer cranes his neck and starts to nose at the twigs tangled up in Brendon's antlers, and if his cheek rubs against Brendon's... well, there's nothing he can do about that. So, Spencer manages to free Brendon from the tree and then Brendon ducks his head and mumbles a thank you. Spencer is pretty happy that he went from being rescued to rescuing and is going to introduce himself when Brendon's parents show up and they look at Spencer and are all "Brendon! Show respect to the Little Prince of the Forest!" and Brendon is awed because he was rescued by the Little Prince of the Forest and embarassed because he made a fool of himself in front of Spencer and horrified because he totally made the Little Prince fal into the water. Spencer is uncomfortable because he's not used to this reverence and he's kind of sad because Brendon keeps his head down and won't make eye-contact and just shuffles on his dainty hooves and follows his parents away from the stream and damn, Spencer really wanted to look at Brendon's pretty eyes again.
(It seems like a bit of sadness is mandatory if Disney is involved...)

Spencer spends the next forever asking Ryan and Jon and even Pete if they know where Brendon and his family live but none of them do, but then he remembers Brendon telling him about his "favourite place in the forest ever!" so Spencer starts making a plan. He rallys his troups (or, okay, tells Ryan and Jon the plan and Ryan refuses to let Spencer go on his own and Jon refuses to be left out of an adventure so, same thing really) and off they all go; Spencer repeating what he can remember of Brendon's descriptions and Ryan using his knowledge of the woods to find it and Jon generally calming them down when Ryan completely loses his sense of direction every five seconds; all to find the pretty deer with the even prettier eyes!

So, Spencer, Ryan and Jon go on their quest to find the pretty deer with even prettier eyes. The "-clearing with the bluebell bushes and there are, like, loads of berries and and clovers! Do you like clover? I like clover, but the flowers are spicier, you can eat them when I'll show you the place" is not easy to find because there're plenty of places with bluebell bushes, berries and clover, just not all of them at the same time. Spencer is pretty close to let his emo show, when Jon suddenly remembers that Pete was talking about a new place were to find delicious clover flowers to eat. So mapquest duties get passed to Jon and now that they know where to go Spencer can't wait for Jon little steps so he just throws Jon on his back and starts trotting.

(Omg I love you so much! Look, why don't you write it? I'll pay you in hugs and cookies! :D?)

Jon's quite gleeful about getting to rid on Spencer's back because Spencer never lets people ride him and it's so much fun!

Eventually they reach the small clearing and it looks perfect! Completely, one hundred percent perfect! Apart from the lack of pretty deers.. Spencer's going to give up, he's so so close to giving up, he even sighs and drops down to the floor to mope but then, there! over there! there's a rustling in the bushes! something that’s singing a happy sounding little song!

(I love you too but NNN! I don't do writing! Or, apparently I do but only comment!fic writing!)

Spencer rushes to the bushes and sticks his snout into the leafy mass, moving his head around. Something cold touches the tip of his nose and the singing stops abruptly. Spencer carefully raises his head from the bush, still keeping contact with whatever it is that bumped his nose. The leaves part around the crown of his head and the first thing he sees are those pretty pretty eyes he was looking for.

Spencer sighs, "There you are, Brendon"

(AH! The sap!)

(Well, if you insist..)

Suddenly Brendon comes flying out of the bushes, prancing around excitedly. "Spencer!” Brendon babbles, “I mean, Prince Spencer," (Ryan snorts, unsuccessfully holding back his laughter) “What are you doing here? Not that you shouldn’t be here, you can be wherever you want, obviously but. Hi!” Brendon beams, excited with a hint of bashful, and Spencer forces himself to look disinterested as he returns the greeting.

Spencer doesn't fool anyone: Ryan keeps laughing behind his wing and Jon makes kissy faces at Spencer. Spencer tells Brendon that he was curious about this place and Brendon nods and Jon pipes up with "He was so curious that he wouldn't even let me walk at my pace" and Ryan chimes in with "Uh-uh. He was so fast he was practically walking on air", "I'm sure his head was whirling" continues Jon, "I wonder, do you feel week in the knees, Spencer?". Spencer has never blushed so much in his entire life. "Shut up, both of you" he says. "Oh, c'mon, Prince Spencer" Ryan says, smirking "That's no way to speak when you run smack into a pretty face like Brendon's here" and hey! Blushing really suits Brendon...

(Well, until it gets to the point where I'm like "....now what? D:!" but for now \o/)

Spencer's torn between glaring at Ryan and Jon, and watching Brendon's blush slowly spread beneath his short fur. "I just wanted to see this place," Spencer insists, proudly adding "I've been almost everywhere in the forest already, I couldn't leave this clearing un-investigated."

This instantly sets Brendon off asking questions about the places beyond the point his mom and dad will let him go unaccompanied; there’s this place, a clearing or something that Brendon can just make out when he gets as far out as he’s allowed to go and it just looks so beautiful! He dreams that one day he’ll be able to go there but until then he wants to know anything Spencer can tell him about it. (Spencer, unfortunately, may’ve been exaggerating a little when he said he’d been almost everywhere.)

....D: and now what?

Uh... Ok, so Spencer is short on places, mostly because he likes routine and tends to wonder around the same handful of places, but he tries to make up in quality what he lacks in quantity. He tells Brendon about the time he, Ryan, Jon and Pete went skating on the frozen lake this past winter (except Jon ws hibernating, so he just watched for a while and then fell back asleep). Brendon is so charmed! He wishes he could have been here earlier, he tells Spencer, but his family's pace was pretty slow, so they took all Winter to get here. Spencer asks Brendon why his family moved from their home, curious about anything Brendon will let him know, and Brendon says "Oh, because my brothers and sisters needed someone to get twitterpated with. Do you know what twitterpated means? I'd really like to get twitterpated, but I'm afraid I won't realize I'm twitterpated because I sings all the time anyway. Mum said I should stop singing so much because otherwise the other deers will think that I'm already twitterpated and won't want to get to know me" Brendon ears drops down, "That would be sad, I think it would be nice to have week knees for someone".

(Hibernating!Jon is adorable. Human!Jon should hibernate. I'm actually pretty sure he does.)

Spencer's silent for a couple of seconds, can almost feel the blush spread back over his skin before finally telling Brendon that he wants to get to know him, that he likes Brendon's singing. Spencer doesn't even care that Ryan and Jon will probably tease him about it forever because Brendon looked so broken and now. Now he doesn't, so Spencer will take their teasing.

Because I start writing and then I get to a certain point and I'm just like WHY IS NOBODY TAKING THIS OFF OF ME AND WRITING THE NEXT BIT? DDDD: It's impossible for me to write an entire fic.

That's a shame :( I really like how your brain works! But I get the feeling *looks at wip and sighs*

TY, I like how it works too, sometimes. I have so many wips! I now have two or three fics which are basically around the idea of Ryan (and Spencer, in one) living in London. It's like I get bored of one so just start on the next!

I try to keep my wips under control. If I get an idea for something, I see if I can work on that idea and turn it into something that could tie in with an already exsisting story before starting a brand new fic, but that's because more than big ideas, I come up with little scenes I'd like to read.

What is Ryan (and Spencer) doing in London? *is curious*

I'm the opposite of that - I come up with ideas for a scene I want to see and then I just start writing until I get to it. I can never get it to work as well as it is in my head though.

In one it's a couple of years after the band have split up (an AU split, not the real one because it was started before hand) and Ryan moved to London purely because I have a thing for Ryan in London. I just think he'd love the lifestyle of living somewhere like Chiswick where it's like the countryside but in the city. idk.

Another, I was reading the chapter of Ant and Dec's autobiography in which they were talking about when they lived together in a crappy run down flat in 90s Britpop London and was instantly hit with RYAN AND SPENCER SHOULD DO THAT!!! so started writing.

Yeah, writing is hard. (that's why I usually stick to the crayon side of things)

I can see Ryan living in that kind of place :) and yesss to the second one!
I'd love to read both!

The second is probably my favourite too but is still only about 700 words max (the first is only 800 max - I really do give up far too easily). Idk maybe one day I'll write more and finish it. That or I'll give up and maybe post it on lj somewhere as a "here, look, I do write I just don't finish it!"

Whatever you decide to do with them, I'll read them like woah \o/

Win! I can't be the only person that can see Ryan moving over here with a romanticised view of it being all Beatles and shizz, surely? He’s bound to do it one day!

Of course he will! He's already living near a canyon to get the full "young-american-writer-on-the-road-style" experience. I'm sure a spot of brit-life-style is next on the agenda ;)
