Ok, nobody complained for the music dump last week so here, have fun:

Oh, hey. You know what's really exciting? MERLIN IS BACK! I've been flailing via e-mail at toodelicious like a spaz. If you haven't watched the first episode yet, GO WATCH IT NOW! OMG! There's jealous!Merlin! And Gaius must have spoken to the slash dragon! And oh the slashiness! I promise you'll love it to pieces (and then come back here so we can flail all together \o/)

RL is kind of boring. I've watched Bambi twice this past week, and I've been trying to find an .avi file of the second one... Bambi II is the only sequel/midquel that's worth watching. I cry harder with it that with the original. Yes, I know I am a total lamer. No, I am not ashamed. How could I when it has gems like

So, other than Disney-related entertainment, I've done pretty much nothing apart from sketching things for random competitions (not the FOB one, I don't think I could pull it off), poking WASP (now at the glorious total of 4000+ words of unrelated bits and pieces and no end in sight. Ah ah ah. /o\) and playing Tap Tap Revenge on Katiephone (that game is addicting! I scored 100% on ABC \o/).

So, Spencer, Ryan and Jon go on their quest to find the pretty deer with even prettier eyes. The "-clearing with the bluebell bushes and there are, like, loads of berries and and clovers! Do you like clover? I like clover, but the flowers are spicier, you can eat them when I'll show you the place" is not easy to find because there're plenty of places with bluebell bushes, berries and clover, just not all of them at the same time. Spencer is pretty close to let his emo show, when Jon suddenly remembers that Pete was talking about a new place were to find delicious clover flowers to eat. So mapquest duties get passed to Jon and now that they know where to go Spencer can't wait for Jon little steps so he just throws Jon on his back and starts trotting.

(Omg I love you so much! Look, why don't you write it? I'll pay you in hugs and cookies! :D?)

Jon's quite gleeful about getting to rid on Spencer's back because Spencer never lets people ride him and it's so much fun!

Eventually they reach the small clearing and it looks perfect! Completely, one hundred percent perfect! Apart from the lack of pretty deers.. Spencer's going to give up, he's so so close to giving up, he even sighs and drops down to the floor to mope but then, there! over there! there's a rustling in the bushes! something that’s singing a happy sounding little song!

Spencer rushes to the bushes and sticks his snout into the leafy mass, moving his head around. Something cold touches the tip of his nose and the singing stops abruptly. Spencer carefully raises his head from the bush, still keeping contact with whatever it is that bumped his nose. The leaves part around the crown of his head and the first thing he sees are those pretty pretty eyes he was looking for.

Spencer sighs, "There you are, Brendon"

Suddenly Brendon comes flying out of the bushes, prancing around excitedly. "Spencer!” Brendon babbles, “I mean, Prince Spencer," (Ryan snorts, unsuccessfully holding back his laughter) “What are you doing here? Not that you shouldn’t be here, you can be wherever you want, obviously but. Hi!” Brendon beams, excited with a hint of bashful, and Spencer forces himself to look disinterested as he returns the greeting.

Spencer doesn't fool anyone: Ryan keeps laughing behind his wing and Jon makes kissy faces at Spencer. Spencer tells Brendon that he was curious about this place and Brendon nods and Jon pipes up with "He was so curious that he wouldn't even let me walk at my pace" and Ryan chimes in with "Uh-uh. He was so fast he was practically walking on air", "I'm sure his head was whirling" continues Jon, "I wonder, do you feel week in the knees, Spencer?". Spencer has never blushed so much in his entire life. "Shut up, both of you" he says. "Oh, c'mon, Prince Spencer" Ryan says, smirking "That's no way to speak when you run smack into a pretty face like Brendon's here" and hey! Blushing really suits Brendon...

(Well, until it gets to the point where I'm like "....now what? D:!" but for now \o/)

Spencer's torn between glaring at Ryan and Jon, and watching Brendon's blush slowly spread beneath his short fur. "I just wanted to see this place," Spencer insists, proudly adding "I've been almost everywhere in the forest already, I couldn't leave this clearing un-investigated."

This instantly sets Brendon off asking questions about the places beyond the point his mom and dad will let him go unaccompanied; there’s this place, a clearing or something that Brendon can just make out when he gets as far out as he’s allowed to go and it just looks so beautiful! He dreams that one day he’ll be able to go there but until then he wants to know anything Spencer can tell him about it. (Spencer, unfortunately, may’ve been exaggerating a little when he said he’d been almost everywhere.)

....D: and now what?

Uh... Ok, so Spencer is short on places, mostly because he likes routine and tends to wonder around the same handful of places, but he tries to make up in quality what he lacks in quantity. He tells Brendon about the time he, Ryan, Jon and Pete went skating on the frozen lake this past winter (except Jon ws hibernating, so he just watched for a while and then fell back asleep). Brendon is so charmed! He wishes he could have been here earlier, he tells Spencer, but his family's pace was pretty slow, so they took all Winter to get here. Spencer asks Brendon why his family moved from their home, curious about anything Brendon will let him know, and Brendon says "Oh, because my brothers and sisters needed someone to get twitterpated with. Do you know what twitterpated means? I'd really like to get twitterpated, but I'm afraid I won't realize I'm twitterpated because I sings all the time anyway. Mum said I should stop singing so much because otherwise the other deers will think that I'm already twitterpated and won't want to get to know me" Brendon ears drops down, "That would be sad, I think it would be nice to have week knees for someone".

(Hibernating!Jon is adorable. Human!Jon should hibernate. I'm actually pretty sure he does.)

Spencer's silent for a couple of seconds, can almost feel the blush spread back over his skin before finally telling Brendon that he wants to get to know him, that he likes Brendon's singing. Spencer doesn't even care that Ryan and Jon will probably tease him about it forever because Brendon looked so broken and now. Now he doesn't, so Spencer will take their teasing.

TY, I like how it works too, sometimes. I have so many wips! I now have two or three fics which are basically around the idea of Ryan (and Spencer, in one) living in London. It's like I get bored of one so just start on the next!

I try to keep my wips under control. If I get an idea for something, I see if I can work on that idea and turn it into something that could tie in with an already exsisting story before starting a brand new fic, but that's because more than big ideas, I come up with little scenes I'd like to read.

What is Ryan (and Spencer) doing in London? *is curious*

I'm the opposite of that - I come up with ideas for a scene I want to see and then I just start writing until I get to it. I can never get it to work as well as it is in my head though.

In one it's a couple of years after the band have split up (an AU split, not the real one because it was started before hand) and Ryan moved to London purely because I have a thing for Ryan in London. I just think he'd love the lifestyle of living somewhere like Chiswick where it's like the countryside but in the city. idk.

Another, I was reading the chapter of Ant and Dec's autobiography in which they were talking about when they lived together in a crappy run down flat in 90s Britpop London and was instantly hit with RYAN AND SPENCER SHOULD DO THAT!!! so started writing.

The second is probably my favourite too but is still only about 700 words max (the first is only 800 max - I really do give up far too easily). Idk maybe one day I'll write more and finish it. That or I'll give up and maybe post it on lj somewhere as a "here, look, I do write I just don't finish it!"

Of course he will! He's already living near a canyon to get the full "young-american-writer-on-the-road-style" experience. I'm sure a spot of brit-life-style is next on the agenda ;)
