RL is kind of boring. I've watched Bambi twice this past week, and I've been trying to find an .avi file of the second one... Bambi II is the only sequel/midquel that's worth watching. I cry harder with it that with the original. Yes, I know I am a total lamer. No, I am not ashamed. How could I when it has gems like

So, other than Disney-related entertainment, I've done pretty much nothing apart from sketching things for random competitions (not the FOB one, I don't think I could pull it off), poking WASP (now at the glorious total of 4000+ words of unrelated bits and pieces and no end in sight. Ah ah ah. /o\) and playing Tap Tap Revenge on Katiephone (that game is addicting! I scored 100% on ABC \o/).

Maybe they're around 10 or something and it's Valentine Day and all the girls in Brendon class are whispering about cards and chocolate and sweets and Brendon doesn't get what all the fuss is about so he asks Jon (because Jon is older and therefore knows a lot of stuff and also he's cooler that Brendon's teacher) and Jon tells him that Valentine Day is like Spring in Bambi. Brendon hums and nods. He gets it now! The girls are twitterpated! (he doesn't understand why they'd be twitterpated about Pete, though)

Brendon feels stupid because he didn't get it right away, but he's more sad about the fact that everyone in his class is twitterpated but him.

Being twitterpated seems like the nicest thing ever (even if there are no cottoncandy clouds to bounce on), because Brendon likes to sing and dance and that's what you do when you're twitterpated. Brendon would like to have an excuse to sing and dance all the time. The first time that he watched Bambi, he thought that if he tried hard enough he could become twitterpated too, but none of his friends made his head spin (apart from Alex, but that was because they were on a merry-go-round). Brendon has been waiting for ages, but so far he had no luck.

At lunch, Brendon's teacher hand out treats for everyone (she gets 10 cool points) and Brendon really likes treats, but he decide to save his for later, when it will help him forget about not coming down with twitterpating once again. He puts the treat in his pocket and finishes eating his greens. When lunch is over, Brendon tells his teacher he's going to the bathroom to wash his hands. He gets out of the canteen and he is about to round a corner when he smack into someone and finds himself on the floor and said someone on top of him.

"Ow" Brendon says.

"Ow" a boy-voice gasps in Brendon's ear.

Brendon turns his head and gets a faceful of light brown hair and the faint smell of apricot.

The boy pushes up on their elbows and Brendon finds himself looking into a pair of pretty blue eyes.

The boy blinks. "Sorry" he says, "I wasn't looking where I was going. I'm Spencer"

"Brendon, hi. Hi." Brendon's hands are kind of flapping on the floor.

Spencer stares at Brendon and then flushes, his cheeks slowly going from pale to red. "Sorry," he says again, fumbling to get off of Brendon, "Sorry. Are you okay?"

Brendon sits up and looks at Spencer bright eyes, his flushed cheeks, his mussed hair.

Brendon feels his face warm, a laugh bubbling in his chest. "My head," he smiles, "It's spinning a bit".

Hey, it worked with my cousin. He asked what loved is and I asked if he knew Bambi, he said yes and I told him that love means being twitterpated.

You mean that paople don't do that already? I use Disney metaphors to explain pretty much anything o_O

OMG AWWWWWWWWW! He wants to be twitterpated! Because he likes to sing and dance and that's just what you do!!! And now he has Spencer and they can be twitterpated together! MOST ADORABLE.
