Guys. This short movie? IT SCREAMS OTP! :DDD
I find the visuals very "Big Fish"ish &movieofmyheart; and I also like the idea behind it, about bringing only the important stuff and then leave that behind too. I am not really sure about that faces/flames layering at the end, though. It looks... sloppy? I'm not vid-savvy, though, so if you think I completely missed the point please enlighten me :)

Ion, I finished the reversebang piece that was still a wip \o/ And my lovely beta gave me the "Go-ahead"! As soon as I finish typing this entry I'm going to send it to my writers and then I'm going to relax. By doodling silly things. Except that I have zero ideas. D: It's a fantastically fun TV show, a cooking competition between chefs, usually the high-end award winning ones. jibrailis wrote an Iron Chef!AU awhile back; that's pretty much the way the show goes (only with less hot guys and less simmering sexual tension; also Mal is much cooler than the actual chairman, who is kind of a crazy goof).

there were two plans, kind of. One where Steve somehow managed to wake a sea serpent during one of his crazy schemes and then danny goes to rescue him, griping about how this shit only happens to steve. of course steve would have to wake a dragon ("sea serpent!" steve corrects him).

the other is a halfway medieval au thing. steve might be a prince, but danny calls him princess because every time danny's ever rescued anyone from a dragon, it's always a princess. steve maintains that he had the dragon thing under control, but danny strongly (and loudly) disagrees. danny would at least be wearing chain mail. he thinks helmets are dumb because you can't see and that's the best way to become flambe. Steve does wear a dress on occassion. he and grace play dress up all the time. this does not stop danny from calling him princess, ever.

re: the video, no i agree, the idea was good, (though i was sad spencer had to leave his drum sticks ;___; the clatter as they hit the ground and rolled away, why must he leave those behind too ;_____________;) but the flames with the kids in the end threw me off. it started out really good and then just got sucky. thier acting though, was hilarious. i had to stop half way to just laugh coz omg.

I just think the editing for that layering could have been better? The hurricane sequence was done pretty well, I just don't get why the kids+flames looks so shoddy (unless that was the director's intent). Their acting is always lolarious! May their acting careers be long and... uh.. yeah.
