All my books are packed away and this house has never felt so empty :( I can't believe we're leaving this house in two weeks and we are all getting kind of bummed. The funny thing is that the house itself seems to be sad we are leaving and during the past two weeks it has started channeling Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (thank god we didn't get mouldy walls, only stuff breaking down... usually on my head /o\).

Anyway! Things that have distracted me from the mountains of boxes that took over every single room:

mfac! I love this advent calendar so much! Every day I get to open a door and find something from one of my fandoms or open a door and find something from an old fandom (oh the memories!) or open a door and BAM! NEW FANDOM! :DDD

- The Multi-Fandom Cuddling Meme! This meme keeps being awesome! Remember the Brendon/Spencer cuddle I doodled for it? A LOVELY ANON WROTE A FICLET FOR IT It is so freaking adorable! Everyone click on the link and bask in the adorable and tell my anon how awesome they are <333

I... well, practically, I was born here. This was my grandparents' house, and when my parents got married they lived in the tiny garage in the garden for three years, then I was born and we kept living there for three more years, until my mum got pregnant again and we moved to a small flat (4 people living in a 20 sqm room with no bathroom wasn't really doable ^__^"), so while I didn't physically live here every day, it is a house I've called home all my life.
The reasons we are moving... well, let's just say that two of my dad's siblings are kinda greedy and didn't care much for my grandpa's decision to leave the house to my family.

All these joyful things are totally helping <333

I haz a question, teacher. What is Killjoy? I mean I know what 'a' killjoy is but I doubt that's what being referred to here. (FYI: that gun is AWESOME. And I look forward to your inception_bang art, yis).

Killjoys! Okay, do you know the band My Chemical Romance? They released their latest album a couple of weeks ago and its title is Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys. Basically, the album tells the story of the Fabulous Killjoys (the band's alter-egos). The story takes place in a sort-of post-apocalyptic future, where the Killjoys fight against the evil corporation BL/ind. So far, two video have been released: Na Na Na (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egG7fiE89IU) intoduces the characters and start the story, and SING (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTgnDLWeeaM) is the second chapter.
At the moment, the Killjoy fangirling is pretty crazy, mostly because we've been waiting for this album for a very long time but also because the visual style is almost a complete opposite of the one the band had adopted for the previous albums and we are all super overjoyed by the fact that Gerard (Way, the lead singer and also the one who comes up with the visual part of the band's albums) discovered there are more colours than black, white and red :D
Um. I am not the best at explaining, though. I can try and look around for a better primer, if you want?

theopteryx is such an amazing artist! I am gleeful about the fact that she signed up for inception_bang because her art will be so freaking gorgeous *___*. My inception_bang art, on the other hand, will be faily, I can already tell! But whatever! We'll get loads of stories and heaps of beautiful fanart and so many fanmixes and I will be able to forget about my own embarrassment \o/)

You're welcome, bb :) I have to confess I much prefer the last two albums to the first two because the music is more danceable (which, for some fans, means that I'm doing it wrong, but what can you do?). Also, even if I didn't like the music, I'd totally fangirl over the art produced around it; MCR fanartists are freaking talented and inspired!
