Today was supposed to be awesome and amazing and all things shiny because I was asked to paint on a wall (I love drawing on big surfaces) but my excitement for this task was ruined in the span of 15 minutes thanks to hate rant delivered by my bff's mum after she asked me what was that I posted on my facebook status and I explained about today being NCOD. I'm not going to repeat what she said because just thinking about it makes the bile rise again in my throat and it was hard to swallow it down the first time around. Point is, she managed to turn me into a sad and angry little thing; when I am a sad-and-angry-little-thing I tend to think the world is doomed and people are horrible and I forget that not everybody is so hateful and offensive and rude. Luckily, mum and L let me get it out of my system and then we all flailed angrily together about people's blindness and their close-mindedness. This FCKH8 video (NSFW! Thank you bb *hugs* I just have a hard time getting over the fact that some people use hurtful words and don't even realise they are doing it.

Of course they don't realize it - because no one tells them about it! The only way to learn and make amends is when someone tells you what you did that's bothering them.

I really hate it when someone gets mad at me and I have no clue why, so I always go to them and ask what I did wrong so I can learn to not do it again in the future.

Then again, on the flip side, there are some people that are stubborn and don't accept such advice... :\

I did explain my point of view but, as you said, some people are just set into their beliefs and refuse to even listen to opinions different from their own.
