Pairing: Butcher/Siska
Warnings: mushrooms (no, really)
Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure fairy wings would be hard to conceal, so I'll go out on a limb and say this is not true.
Author's notes: If you wanted to write them being pretty fairies in a garden, I would read that. Dear [livejournal.com profile] colouredmango, you started it. It's all your fault.

*blushes* I'm not that talented. I just enjoy messing up with colours...
Siska's pose is kind of an accomplishment for me. I was aiming for something that showed how it's totally normal for him to let Buthcer touch his wings... I don't know, I wanted something that showed intimacy without being too explicit. Looks like I succeeded :)

The flower was inspired by this picture of him (http://i1.tinypic.com/87i80lx.jpg) that I found while looking for reference pics :D

And you did that so well. This one and the curtainfic piece both have that. It's a really amazing how you're able to do that!
Also, did you do the outlines in pencil? I can't decide if it looks more like ink or pencil.

Are we sure that Butcher isn't actually a fairy? Maybe he has found a way to hide the wings. :D

:D I am so happy that you think I'm good at that! Pieces that portrait love and companionship in that way are my favourite, mostly because they seem more intimate and poignant than explicit ones. I enjoy those, too, don't get me wrong, but pieces that use... sublte (not the word I was looking for, but it's close) elements, like a particular pose or gesture, are more interesting to me because they show the undercurrent feeling without resorting to explicit pictures. Uh... sorry for the digression...

I used earth brown ink for the outlines. It's better that the fine point marker I used before because once it's dry, it won't bleed if I pass over it with watercolours or copic markers :)

I have my suspicions about that eagle tattoo on his chest... maybe that's where his wings hide....
