I got twitterhit
which is kind of creepy. I mean... there's someonething watching everything that I type and suggests other people to follow me because I used a particular word in one of my tweets. Stalkery at its finest.
Also, completely fucked up. If I were to use TwitterHIT to look for people who have tweeted (Tweetted? Tweettered? Twat.. no, that's another thing) the word "baby seals" (because I want to follow people who love adorable things) I could end up following a bunch of people who used "baby seals" in a sentence like "leaving for Alaska! Finally my dream of clubbing baby seals is coming true!". Not to mention that your home page would become a freaking tweeting mess of people you haven't even "spoken" to once. More to the point, why would you (and I quote) "hope that the ones I mass tweetterhit will follow me".
I don't get this need to be "followed". It reminds of the "friends counter" on MySpace. Higher the number of followers, the realer you are? WTF?

I finished my second piece for BBB yesterday morning \o/ I think I like this one as much as the first one, if not more. Maybe it's because I did it the traditional way, or maybe because I used coloured inks for the first time and it turned out that I'm ok using them. I'm so proud of it that I really want to say 'fuck the rules' and give you a sneak peek... BUT I'M A GOOD GIRL AND I CAN'T BREAK THE RULES! Now I really can't wait for BBB to start! Two more weeks! I. Can't. Wait.
I spent yesterday scanning some drawings. While I was waiting for the scanner to load I started doodling. You know when you want to draw, but you don't know what to draw? Milly told me that if I needed inspiration, I could draw something from my favourite fics, so I thought about the fics that I really enjoyed, which brought me to think about fics that should be written because they'd be totally adorable and... well, remember that silly Jhonny Fedora!AU not-fic? Yeah...
Now I really want to write it, because
Jon needs to find a way out of the shop. Ryan's been gone for three days and yeah, Greta seemed like a nice hat wearer, but Jon misses Ryan. He misses Ryan and his remarks about the people who passed the window, his opinions about Pete's brand of romancing, the sinuos way he moved his ribbons when he was fluffling the rosettes in the back, where the peak tapered out.
As if Ryan being gone wasn't tragic enough, Patrick decided that... something - Jon is not going to call him a hat - with tassels and fringes and eagle feathers and "Brightside" watermarked in silver on the side would be a good replacement for Ryan (which, no. Ryan was a tasteful little bluebonnet, with a black satin puggaree that matched the two long ribbons, shiny, red, plastic berries tucked among the soft flowery ornaments and a penchant for using uncommon words like puggaree).
"I can't believe the hideous things that fat guy is selling in here! I can't let people see me associating with your lot."
Jon needs to find a way out of the shop. But in order to think of a good escape plan, he needs to find a way to get Brandon to shut the hell up.
