From Awesome to Utter Tragic

It's amazing how many things can happen in two days.

Awesome: (If you are a member of [livejournal.com profile] failboatsinlove you've probably seen this recc'ed already, but a little pimping never hurt anyone) Go read Sir Brendon of Urie by [livejournal.com profile] airgiodslv! It's knight!Brendon going on a quest to prove himself worthy of Princess Spencer's hand! GOGOGO!!!

Amazing: Two people contacted me today to get tattoos! I'm very excited about it because the tattoos they want are completely different in style (one is organic and the other is a coat of arms). Until now, I've been doing very simple designs so I'm quite happy to get a chance at trying my hand at something different from the usual. It feels like being in high school again and challenging myself constantly to try and master a new craft :)

Nice: I finished the t-shirt I started last Sunday (the one that ended up with me painting on my hand like a 4-year-old). It looks like this
Free Hugs
I got the idea from a t-shirt I saw while checking out one of those "funny tees" sites (we already covered the extent of my lameness the other day). I liked the phrase but not the font, so I went and did my own :)

Good: Bus-Boy texted me today and we are going out tomorrow afternoon for a coffee. I'm... not excited? To be honest, I'm pretty indifferent. Maybe because the last time I went out with a nice boy it turned out that he was a total bore. Hopefully this one will be more entertaining. (It looks bitchy when I write it like that, but what I like in a person is their ability to surprise me and keep me interested. I know it's not nice, but I get distracted very easily :[ ). I think all the flailing last week was more because I did something completely out of character for me than because I had a date. I think I crave excitement more than stability.

Bad: Spring must have decided to go on holiday till Summer because it's been raining non-stop for two days already. The forecast guy said that it will be like this till Friday, wich doesn't bode well for our trip to the seaside :(

Utter Tragic: My iPod is dead. It went batshit insane and doesn't recognize music files anymore. I tried reformatting it eleven times today to no avail. I found the receipt of the purchase and it should be still under guarantee, so I'll bring it to the Apple Store and see if they can do anything to call it back from the Land of Dead Devices. I must say that April is a shitty time for me and mp3 players. The Shuffle I had before died in April too. This is a very tragic occurance because I don't go anywhere without my music. I feel like this week will be a trial. Cheer me up?
