Art: is what makes me, me. My whole family is kind of artistic (my mum used to do pottery, my grandad painted on glass, my dad works in the graphic area/is a tattoo artist, my sister sews plushies, my cousin painted miniatures, my other cousin plays the piano, my grandma used to knit like a pro. The list goes on...) so I actually grew surrounded by art of every kind and learned to see and find it everywhere. I firmly believe that every single person is an artist in something, be it painting, cooking or the way you match you accessories when you dress in the morning.
Disney: this is where my geekiness shines the brightest. You know "sunday morning cartoon"? I ditched those to watch Disney Classics on repeat. Mum and dad recorded me a few VHS's with short Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse films and I watched those religiously; when a tv wasn't available, I read the comics. Sometimes, I use Disney quotes in everyday speach and I get super happy when people get the reference (other just look at me in a sad way. Poor souls). My obsession with Disney does not stop at the popular things either. I know the names of the directors, character designers, composers, what kind of method was used for the animation and dates or release (and re-release!). If you get me talking, I can go on for hours.
Fairy Tales: since I grew up with Disney, it comes without saying that fairy tales are one of my favourite things. What you may not know is that I like to look for the story behind the story. I like knowing the different versions of a fairy tale and why it changed with the passing of the time, what does it teaches and how it has to change for its meaning to still ring true. To be honest, I'm thinking of basing my graduation thesis on this subject...
Hats: Oh my, do I love hats! I have a box in my wardrobe full of hats of every colour and shape. I really, really love wearing hats, the dorkiest the better!
MotoGP: this is the only sport I follow like a real supporter. I know the riders, I know the rules, I scream and jump on the sofa when Vale goes on one wheel when he crosses the finish line :D. I really like motorbikes! Also, I used to ride this bike to go to school when I was 18.
My Chemical Romance: they are the reason I ended up in bandom :D I got into their music when the INOK video came out, but I didn't go and look for personal info. Then one day a friend of mine told me that they would come to Italy for a concert and asked me if I would go with her (this was around the time I got into FOB) and then I don't know, I ended up in bandom :)
Peter Pan: It was my favourite Disney movie when I was little (I wanted to be a Lost Boy), then I fell in love with Hook and developed an obsession for Tinker Bell. I'm just fascinated by the magic and the characters in this story. At one point, I really believed that Neverland was real.
