It really was :( I talked to her yesterday afternoon and she sounded better, so we're hopeful.
Oh! I love bell peppers! They are one of the few veggies I actually eat :D Ok, this one is a typical Roman dish
Pollo alla Romana coi Peperoni (which means "Roman Chicken with Bell Peppers". We like to call things by their name ;)) *1 chicken cut in 8 pieces *1 garlic clove *1/2 glass white wine *2 diced tomatoes (better if San Marzano!) *4 bell peppers cut à la julienne *vegetable oil *1 tsp cooking salt
Pour some oil in a pan and fry lightly the garlic clove and the cooking salt. Add the chicken and stir.
Add the bell peppers. They should ooze some water, so you have to wait for some of it to evaporate before adding the tomatoes. When the sauce starts to thicken, pour the wine into the pan and raise the heat for a minute.
Spear the chicken with a fork. If it's well cooked, your meal is ready :)
(I hope my instructions are not too confusing :/. Translating kitchen-lingo is not easy)
