like, FAIL BAKING! because it is cassie's birthday and that seems like a thing you should do! Kate has taken over the party planning and gifts because uh, Tommy had some terrible ideas and really, there was no other way to expect that to go. So Tommy and Eli get tasked with set-up, Vision is keeping Cassie occupied, and Billy and Teddy are going to bake the cake. Really. It's going to be awesome. even if they do get distracted and flour fights occur and the kitchen is a total mess.

They definitely have a flour fight that is completely ill-advised and 100% Teddy's fault, Billy insists, even though probably Billy started it, but shh, not the point. Teddy finishes it, regardless, crowding Billy up against the counter and kind of pinning his arms. It's the kind of hold that would be easy for Billy to get out of if he felt like trying, but secure enough that he mostly really doesn't feel like it at all. And they're both still kind of laughing because, well, teenage superheroes having flour fights, it's ridiculous and the most fun this week has been, honestly. Billy's hair is looking more like Tommy's and Teddy absolutely has a flour-handprint on his face (and yeah, his ass too. Like Billy was going to be above coping a feel). So they're just staring at each other, covered in white and definitely behind schedule on this whole cake thing, but neither of them could care less, in that moment. Teddy is still mid-laugh when Billy pushes up on his toes and kisses him. So, he kind of misses at first, but then Teddy gets with the program and it all slots together. Licking his way into Teddy's mouth, he gets the faintest taste of chocolate - ha! he knew he'd been sneaking chocolate chips. Teddy always does that. He pulls back to give Teddy a disapproving look, but Teddy makes a noise of protest when their lips separate and wraps his arms around Billy's waist to bring him in closer. And, yeah, Billy hums contently, more kissing is definitely the better plan here.
and eventually they do have to stop because cake! baking! And if any of the team walks in on them making out again this week, they are definitely on dish-duty for the rest of the month (which is totally unfair, but uh, it maybe has already happened multiple times this week. Not always in communal areas! Eli just needs to get better at knocking, really.)
