So... my art contribution to BBB is up \o/ woo!
This year I got so, so lucky! I had the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing sunsetmog on her steampunk!AU, A Presumption of Functionality (A Gas-Light Romance). It is one of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading, not only because sunsetmog's style is pretty much the epitome of everything awesome, but also because it features a bossy governess, creaky floorboards, cherry cake, oil stains and a pet hedgehog (which I believe is an element that should be included in every story ever from now on).

Anyway, you can see my art while reading the story (because sunsetmog is a coding wiz and put it all inline) or you can view all the pieces together here (I suggest you go with option one, though! Really, BEST STORY EVER!) :)

The real translation is: "Thank you dear, I'm so happy that they came out decent! I was so scared I wouldn't measure up :D (and you are not the only one who wants a headgehog of your own)"

Riccio can mean both curl and hedgehog ;)

lol i figured it was something along those lines, but its so strange to me that curl and hedgehog could mean the same thing :D

lol im lik half asleep, i forgot to say, i lovd teh drawings, i look forward to reading the story and seeing them there.

(happy ending right? you woulnt think it was as awesome otherwise right? they get together in the end don they? D:)
