Ah, Roma! I was there 3 and 1/2 years ago for my 10th grade school trip! :D Their mozzarella is amazing (and so is the gelato omg but this is not the post for gelatos). A patriotic pizza-maker there once told me that mozzarella in other countries is not real mozzarella, because those has been frozen before - THE TRUE MOZZARELLA MUST NOT BE FROZEN, BUT KEPT IN COLD WATER FOR STORAGE. That was such an amazing fact that I've never forgotten it after all these years. Kraft cheese ought to be illegal, really. >:(

You'd be surprised at how strange pasta can get here in Taiwan. I've seen spaghetti with bell peppers and curry sauce once before... I was like, "What?" So I got the salmon and mushroom spaghetti with white sauce instead. ): Which is still rather strange, but at least it tasted pretty good.
