It depends - I like historical/military novels, and I absolutely adore dragons. Temeraire is sort of like Hornblower/Sharpe, with bonus dragonage. Intelligent dragons who debate scientific theory and philosophy. *hearts them* So yes, if that seems like your thing, then yis. That, and the love that Dare Not Speak Its Name between a man and his dragon. (Their love, it is EPIC).
