o1. bradley james - with or without 'crooked teeth'?
I think his crooked teeth are kind of cute. I think if his teeth were straight he'd lose a lot of appeal, I don't know why.
o2. what do you like about yourself?
I like my resilience. You can beat me to a pulp but I'll be up and running the next day. Also, my eyes.
o3. are you a morning person?
It depends how long the caffeine takes to get into my bloodstream. During the first 5 minutes from when I wake up I can't be spoken to. Some days people just aknowledging my presence, not even with words, can irritate me (once, mum fixed my cup before I got to do it and I told her to keep her hands to herself. It was quite tragic.)
Once those 5 minutes pass, tho, I'm chirping like a bird.
o4. merthur: bottom!arthur/bottom!merlin? your thoughts.
Mmmm... I read both, so either way is fine with me. Bottom!Merlin is way more frequent, and I think it comes from the fact that Merlin is represented as a naive, waif, sensitive little boy, but I don't see why a sensitive person couldn't be a top. Just because someone is toned and a born leader, I don't get why he should be "in charge" all the time. I like bottom!Merlin because I like seeing Arthur taking the next step and making Merlin his. I like bottom!Arthur because Merlin as the assertive one is hot.
o5. fluff or pwp?
Is Plot With Porn a suitable answer? Lately, I value plot over porn. I'm more interested in the "getting there" than the "getting it" :)
Now, I'm sure all of you have heard the dulcet tone of Brendon singing Sublime and Sinatra. I have both files!
To get the Sinatra I had to raid the interweb until I found a downloadable file because the site I usually use (file2hd.com) didn't like Pete's blog. Do you know any other site I can use to rip music from the net?
This past Friday there was random storm over Rome and the cypress in my garden fell down on the veranda (we took some pictures, but William is acting up again and won't let me upload things to photobucket/imageshack). We were all abit surprised (and grateful) that it was the cypress and not the cluster pine to fall down.
Good things about this mess:
- The cypress broke at about 4 metres form the ground, which means that I can still tie up the hammock :)
- We have a lot of wood for next Winter.
I finished the shoes for my friend! They came out like this (link goes to my DA)
Also, I made a couple of sketches for the tees for my sister's friend.
One is a stylized design of Le Violon d'Ingres by Manray which looks like this
and the other is a Poe inspired one
The quote around the window frame says:
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal man ever dared to dream before" .
I'm pretty happy with how they came out (and the guy was happy, too). It looks like I found a way to make a bit of money over the summer :)
P.S. Brendon just tweeted about being bound to propose on a Staurday night. He sure doesn't waste any time... I hope he knows he's also bound to propose to someone whose name starts with "S" (and ends in "pencer"!)
